Explore Baltimore, with Express

posted 1:30 AM UTC in Media

Today’s edition of Express contains a special twelve-page feature section on our neighbor to the north, Charm City itself. There’s an article on the hip Hampden neighborhood, along with quick bits on Fells Point, Mount Vernon and Federal Hill, and an interview with David Simon, whose 1993 novel was the basis for the TV series “Homicide.”

It’s part of an effort by the paper to add the occasional special feature to their mix, to bring in additional readers (and advertisers). I don’t know if it’ll become a regular edition or not; it probably depends on how the reaction to this one goes. What do you think? (Don’t tell me, tell them.)

Here’s the direct PDF link to today’s edition — it’s 12 MB, so beware.
