One of the reasons I’ve been somewhat scarce of late is the abysmal state of our home network. Since I last expounded on the topic things have gotten steadily worse, to the point where we’ve pretty much decided to throw in the towel on Comcast and switch to Verizon’s hopefully-less-crappy FIOS service. I’m sure the transition will be an orderly one. (yes, that’s sarcasm.)

On the plus side, at least we now have one device in the house which should always have at least some kind of Internet connection (which is why you’re even hearing from me now since once again our connection is down). Screen’s a bit small but it certainly is handsome.
